2 channels FES device (Functional Electrical Stimulation) to stimulate calf muscles and help the correct venous circulation. Its stimulation reactivates calf muscular pump that is mainly responsible of venous return. Calf muscles contraction promotes the compression of superficial and deep veins. As a consequence blood reaches the heart more easily. Mio-Vein can be used not only to help the natural blood flow but also to prevent venous insufficiency and deep vein thrombosis. Moreover it can be used in presence of lower limb edemas, venous ulcers and venous diseases. It is an important support to compressive stocking therapy and finally to venous stasis treatment
